YBDXPI FT8 CONTEST 2025
WSJT is a computer program used for weak signal radio communications between amateur radio operators. This program was originally written by Joe Taylor, K1JT, but is now open source and developed by a small team. The digital signal processing techniques in the WSJT make it easier for amateur radio operators to use esoteric modes of propagation, such as high-speed meteor scattering and moonbounce.

Among all modes, FT8 has the most users worldwide. Several clubs for FT8 users have sprung up and provide various awards that are of interest to radio amateurs. However, contests as an amateur radio activity for the FT8 mode are still lacking.
Therefore, we intend to hold an annual FT8 contest, which is planned to be held every third week of October, under the name “YBDXPI FT8 CONTEST”. and aims to improve operator skills and capabilities of radio and antenna equipment.
The 2025 contest will be coordinated by the Republic of Indonesia Amateur Radio Organization (ORARI) LOCAL BANDUNG CITY, with Ebet Nugraha (YB1BD) as the local chairman, and the Contest Manager Asep R. Natapraja (YB1BX) with the title
“YBDXPI FT8 CONTEST 2025” which is planned to be held on November 1, 2025, 00:00 UTC and ends November 2, 2025, 23:59 UTC (48 hours).
Budi Santoso YE1AR together with the entire team and committee, would like to thank the donors so that the YBDXPI FT8 contest can be held.
